Xmas Lights

Went for a cruise around town tonight to check out the lights. Very nice display. Lots of waving Santa's, moving reindeer and other gizmos. I wonder about the popularity of this activity - great tradition, good for family activities, hopeless for global warming!!

Looks like nature is going to compete anyway with lightning in the skies. Hopefully we are in for some more rain.

Random Ramblings

Well so much for me posting regularly on this, I admit I am VERY slack. All the technology in the world and no time to use it. OR if I do use it I feel guilty for not doing other stuff.

Right now I should be at RFS training but after a horrible nights sleep - too hot, noisy sleepover (the kids not me unfortunatly!) and bug attacks etc I decided to stay home rather than wake the kids and drop them off elsewhere so I can go. My eldest goes with me, the youngest was going to go to her friends who slept over last night. The old adage let sleeping dogs lie was my guide on this one - I am too tired and grumpy to deal with tired and grumpy 11 year olds who can make any 2 year old tantrum look lame.

So failing RFS training I "should" be putting some laundry on, I need clean sheets. 5 minute job, but to get to it I have to empty the machine and fold the clothes in that, then I'll be cleaning the kitchen cos the little darlings left it a mess etc - so here I am procrastinating and blogging instead!!

Found a great article on Bigpond this morning, more aptly known as PigPond. I also need to work on two websites, update the community one and do some typing. I know it is sunday but I am getting way behind at work - too much to do and too little time!!

Another week..

There goes another week, I thought about blogging during it but time just eluded me. Had a work committee meeting, chamber of commerce meeting and the usual home stuff. Watching a STUPID movie with the kids right now - Wendy meets Casper. Earlier we watched Santa Clause 3. I am just not a fan of those type of comedies. Give me Harry Potter any day!

Speaking of which, Coles have the 1st three HP movies for $13 each. Bargain!!!

Saturday today!

Spent today cleaning, organizing kids, maintaining a website, sorted out a client, visiting friends and playing around with twitter.

Weird site that, I am still trying to get my head around it. Someone I am following has the occasional message there but I can't see it on their twitter page when I go visit and it isn't addressed to me (@ccherry) plus stuff I address to a particular person doesn't seem to show up anywhere on their page. Bit like most web 2.0 technology - often confusing!
